Fashion at the Galway Races Inspiration
Ruth visited Athlone Towncentre this week to style some outfits ahead of the Galway Races.
If you are looking for the latest fashion finds or still undecided about an outfit look no further…

Outfit 1
I love this polka dot jumpsuit from River Island. I teamed it with the Cally heels from River Island. A jumpsuit is something different as everyone’s first thought when shopping for the races is a dress, and this would really stand out. Polka dots are huge this season and very flattering for all body types, with the tight waist detail and flared leg detail.
Outfit 3
This jumpsuit is from River Island and really stood out to me with the vibrant purple and orange colours. I matched it with the Ella sandals which are also from River Island, and are really comfortable shoes if you are going to be on your feet all day. I would wear a hat with this jumpsuit or a hairband.

Outfit 5
This outfit is from VILA and is teamed with two different tops, the skirt could be matched with copper, mustard, green or white, along with a fascinator or hat. The skirt is new stock and could be worn to the races and kept as a key piece in your Summer wardrobe. It could also be worn to a BBQ, Summer holiday or summer event.

Tips for the Races
- Dress for comfort and choose an outfit that is true to your style and that you feel confident in
- If you buy new shoes, break them in before you go!
- Be prepared for the weather, bring an umbrella
- Bring flats to change into or invest in some gel cushioned insoles
