Join us on Saturday 30th of March, from 1pm for an afternoon of Style and Beauty inspiration live in Centre, hosted by The Style Fairy, Naomi Clarke.
All shows and activities on the day are free but because it’s Mother’s Day weekend we wanted to use this as an opportunity to support two deserving local Mothers, Paula Naughton and Sinead Kerrigan, who are working tirelessly to improve the quality of life for their sons.
Announcing the fundraising activity, Centre Manager Shirley Delahunt said, “Both Join our Boys Trust and Bring Kieran Home are two local charities that we are delighted to support and we would love if our customers on the day could show their support too while attending our free fashion shows or availing of the beauty treats on the mall”.
“Over the course of the afternoon, we will also have lots of spot prizes and raffle prizes on offer. Any donation on the day would be hugely appreciated and this will be further added to by a donation from the centre directly”, Ms Delahunt elaborated.
Aged just 22, Kieran Cleary’s world was turned upside down when he togged out to play tag rugby in Dubarry Park in Athlone on June 14th 2018 and collapsed during this game.Kieran commenced a program in The National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire where he has been taking small, important steps on the road to recovery. There is still a long and difficult road ahead for Kieran. In order to bring him home to Athlone, vital funds are needed to adapt his family home with all the facilities and equipment required to maximise the potential for his recovery.
Archie, George and Isaac Naughton are three young brothers who live in Roscommon. In November 2012 their families lives and dreams were changed beyond comprehension when all three boys were given a diagnosis of Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a devastating, fatal, neuromuscular disease that means these three beautiful boys are unlikely to live beyond their late teens or early 20s. Your donations will help to ensure that the Naughton boys have whatever resources they require to keep them mobile for as long as possible, and live a life filled with purpose and meaning.
