Did you know that in 2025, Athlone Towncentre was awarded the coveted ISO50001 accreditation for Energy Management?!
With the support of our asset management team, managing agents Bannon and our sustainability partners Evia Ireland we successfully:
- Reduced the energy consumption on site by a massive 700,000 kWh,
- Reduced our carbon emissions by over 180 tonnes &
- Took the centre from an E1 to an A3 BER rating.
While these are all changes that take place behind the scenes, they have a huge impact in reducing the carbon footprint of the shopping centre.
